I am a Chartered Financial Planner and Operations Director of Handford Aitkenhead & Walker, a practice that has been in business for over 40 years. I also hold the Investment Management Certificate and co-manage the investment solutions for our clients.

I specialise in working with three groups: People planning for their retirement, People retiring now, Higher earners.

I don't use guesswork or rely on accepted wisdom when making recommendations. I use powerful modelling software to simulate your lifetime, trialling numerous possible solutions to find the best for you. Not only does this allow you to make the most of your money but it also lets you see your finances with clarity. It’s not all numbers though. I learn what is important to you and make sure that quality of life issues are at the forefront of our recommendations.

I believe in transparency and fairness. That's why we publish our fees online and reduce our charges on a sliding scale so that clients with smaller or larger portfolios pay a fee that is appropriate to the work and costs involved. We run a socially responsible business, using local suppliers wherever possible and giving around 1% of our annual turnover to charities and other good causes.

Away from work I’m a keen (fair-weather!) runner and cyclist and a busy mum.
