Can I leave some of my shares with my current ISA and pay into the new ISA while I'm in the process of transferring?

I have a large Stocks and Shares ISA with Fidelity, I'm looking to move some or all of it to another provider. Can I leave some or all of it with Fidelity and pay into the new provider while I'm in the process of transferring?

Hi Edward,

The only rule is that you cannot contribute to more than one ISA provider in any one tax year, so provided you haven't contributed to Fidelity in this tax year, then yes you could transfer to another provider and contribute to them too.

Hope this helps
