Can I still open a SIPP and have my company contribute to it?

Hi I am self employed aged 62, don't plan to retire after 70/75. I already receive a final salary pension, can I still open a SIPP and have my company contribute to it?

Hi Stephen,
Thank you for your question.
Yes, your company can contribute to a SIPP. This can even be after age 75 (albeit without the income tax relief). You just have to be in consideration of the annual contribution amount in relation to your net relevant earnings to make sure you're not exceeding the amount of income tax relief allowable.
Hope this helps?
