Would I still be classified as a first time buyer?

Hello, I am a first time buyer with a LISA. My partner and I are planning to get married in 2024 and buy a property together in 2025. My partner isn't a first time buyer. Would I be able to use my LISA and still be classified as a first time buyer if I am married, and buying a property with my husband? Many thanks.

Unfortunately, if you or your partner have previously owned a home then with HMRC (stamp duty) you won't be classed as a first time buyer. However, with some mortgage lenders, if it has been more than 3 years since you have owned a property, they may allow you to apply for a first time buyer product.
