Thank you for being such dedicated members of the Boring Money Panel, and thank you to everyone who has taken part in our research and surveys over the past few years. Depending on when you joined the panel, it may have been some time since we last updated your information. To ensure we hold accurate and up‑to‑date details — and align our invites and contents to meet your needs— we are asking all panel members to complete a short update survey. The survey will take approximately five minutes to complete. The information you provide will be used solely for research purposes and will be handled in accordance with the Market Research Society Code of Conduct and the UK GDPR. Your personal data will not be shared with any third parties without your explicit consent.
Boring Money Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw”)
Terms and Conditions
1. These are the terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") that govern the relationship between you, the entrant ("entrant", "you", "your(s)") participating in the Prize Draw and Boring Money with its registered office at “10 Lower Thames Street, London, EC3R 6AF” and registration number ZA192588 ("Promoter").
2. Entry into the Prize Draw is dependent on your continued acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and by entering the Prize Draw you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and confirm that you have legal capacity to enter the Prize Draw and to agree to the Terms and Conditions (i.e. that you are of sufficient age and mental capacity and are entitled to be legally bound in contract). Entries must comply with these Terms and Conditions to be valid.
3. From 21st October 2025, the Promoter will send an email to its Research Panel members with an invitation ("Invite") to participate in the Boring Money survey ("Survey") via a unique survey link (tagged with a pseudo unique ID link), together with the option to be entered into this Prize Draw.
4. To enter into this Prize Draw, you must do the following during the Entry Period:
Click on the unique link in your Invite and complete the full survey.
5. Entrants must be residents of the UK who:
(a) who are registered members of the Boring Money Research Panel
(b) have received an Invite from the Promoter; and
(c) who have internet access and a valid and active email account.
6. No payment or purchase is necessary to enter the Prize Draw. The sole consideration required from the entrant is outlined in clause 4 and agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
7. The Prize Draw commences on 21st October 2025, once the invite will be sent and ends at 23.59 on 27th October 2025 ("Entry Period"). Only entries received during the Entry Period will be entered into the Prize Draw. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be processed.
8. Entrants may submit a maximum of one (1) entry per person into the Prize Draw.
9. Boring Money does not accept responsibility for any entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, damaged or corrupted or otherwise not received or cannot be entered for technical or any other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt. Incomplete or illegible entries or those not submitted in accordance with the entry instructions and these Terms and Conditions are invalid. At the end of the Entry Period.
10. There will be 10 prizes and 10 winners. Each winner of the Prize Draw will receive one of 10 x £50 GiftPay vouchers only in the form of an e-gift card (the “Prize”). In the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside the Promotion Entities' control, the Promoter reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of equal or greater value at the Promoter’s sole discretion. All taxes (excluding VAT) which may be payable (if any) as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of GiftPay. The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash or other prizes (in whole or in part).
11. The draw for this Prize Draw will take place on 31st October 2025. All emails who completed the survey will be put into a random software generator that can select a winner at random and the winner will be selected at random from all valid entrants received during the Entry Period in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
12. The winner will be notified before 7th November 2025 by one or more e-mails to the e-mail address held by the Promoter corresponding to the winner's email entered at the end of the survey right before clicking ‘Complete’ for submitting the survey.
13. Boring Money has the right to select an alternative winner or a substitute winner which shall be the next entrant that is selected at random from the remaining eligible entries if either: (i) the Promotion Entities have reasonable grounds for believing that a winner has contravened any of these Terms and Conditions, including as set out in rule 15 below (ii) Boring Money is unable to contact the entrant after two (2) attempts within the Notification Period (iii) the entrant does not wish to accept the Prize and/or (iv) the winner does not confirm their acceptance of their Prize within the Notification Period.
14. The Promotion Entities shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect themselves against fraudulent or invalid claims including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, age, and other relevant details of an entrant.
15. The Promotion Entities reserve the right at their absolute discretion to disqualify any entry which it considers does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or any entrant who it reasonably believes has interfered with the fair running of this Prize Draw, including providing false or misleading information.
16. Entries must be made by the entrant personally and must not be made through agents or third parties.
17. Our decisions are final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of this Prize Draw, including without limitation in relation to the winner's selection and award of the Prize. The Promotion Entities may enter correspondence to notify the Prize winner. Unsuccessful entrants will not receive any notification of such.
18. We accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities (including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damage) injury or disappointment incurred or suffered as a result of entering the Prize Draw, not being able to enter into the Prize Draw or acceptance of the Prize. We further disclaim liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer or IT systems relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading of any materials in connection with the Prize Draw. Nothing shall exclude our liability for fraud or for death or personal injury as a result of our negligence.
19. Boring Money reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Prize Draw with or without prior notice due to reasons outside their control or to amend or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. In the event of early termination, Boring Money will select a winner at random from all eligible entries received at the time of such termination.
20. Any data or personal information submitted by entrants and collected in connection with entry to this Prize Draw will be used for the administration of the Prize Draw and handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, which can be seen here: https://www.boringmoney.co.uk/privacy-policy/. Personal data relating to entry to the Prize Draw will not be shared with any third party.
21. Any data or information collected through completion of the Survey is governed separately to these Terms and Conditions and Boring Money as the Promoter of the Survey, is the data controller of such data or information for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation. All such data or information will be handled in accordance with the Boring Money policy, which can be seen here: https://www.boringmoney.co.uk/privacy-policy/.
22. If any of these Clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid, or otherwise unenforceable, then the clause in question shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining Clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
23. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
