Chelsea Dennison

I studied Mathematics at The University of Manchester and achieved a 2:1 in June 2015. After graduating, I moved to Paris for a year where I was an Au Pair and attend language school to improve my French to a conversational level. When I returned home in August 2016, I worked at L&G retirements before I started my career in Financial Planning on the PN grad scheme in July 2017. I passed my Diploma in just 10 months whilst working full time and in September last year gained all the credits needed for the Advanced Diploma (not quite enough experience for Chartered but watch this space!).

I manage a book of about 25 of my own clients and work alongside one of the directors supporting him to run his book. I particularly like retirement advice, so clients looking to retire in the short – medium term who want to organise their assets to support this or clients who have just retired and need a drawdown strategy to ensure they’re making the most out of their hard earned assets. 

A little about my personally: I live in Newport. I bought my house about 18 months ago and spend a lot of my time decorating and renovating what I can. I quite enjoy upcycling and trying to fix up / improve what I have instead of buying new things. I have a sproodle (springer x poodle) puppy, Luna, who I like to take for long walks and she’s just started running with me too. I like travel, experiencing new foods and culture, exercising and spending time with my family.
