    Highly principled and not afraid to go against the grain. A few years of little growth, but they are about 'not losing money', so fair enough - and over many volatile periods, Ruffer has continued to hold strongly. When you look at that over the long-term (10 years +), it means that their slower growth compares favourably to many more showy funds.
