    This relatively new service has been designed for people who want to invest in what they know. It’s thematic. Pick something you like the sound of and invest. The app is easy enough to use and has some decent reviews. It’s fairly clean and simple to navigate – and so quite a nice experience for less confident investors. There are other more established providers out there which do similar things – it’s hard to identify anything standout about this option which may struggle to keep up with the bigger guys when it comes to development budgets.

    Quilter Invest, formerly known as NuWealth, is an app-based investment platform founded in 2017. Its core aim is to “revolutionise the way you manage your finances, making investing simple and saving significant”. Quilter Invest’s Founder and CEO, Kane Harrison, says the firm is all about “freedom and opportunity, and fresh thinking” and welcomed the rebrand as part of its mission to “build a brighter financial future for ourselves and generations to come”.
