Is Quilter Invest good for investing?
Written by Boring Money

Quilter Invest is an app-based investment platform that charges a flat £2 per month with no additional platform fees or trading commissions. It offers commission-free trading on approximately 30+ themed funds, with Stocks & Shares ISAs, General Investment Accounts, and Junior ISAs available (but no pensions or Lifetime ISAs). Best suited for beginner investors who want a simple, mobile-first experience with curated investment choices and transparent pricing, though it lacks the extensive research tools and investment range offered by more established platforms. At £24 per year regardless of portfolio size, it's particularly competitive for smaller investors.
Investment expert's opinion
Although Quilter is best known for financial advice, this DIY option looks nice and will be a decent choice for those who want to invest and learn, with a helping hand on the way. With decent ready-made options on the shelves, along with funds and shares too, it's a good, strong app for beginners. Would be good to see more video content to support learning and maybe top tips from some of the in-house advisers too. Has improved and is worth a look.
