A person who refers clients to an investment advisor and gets paid finder's fee, what is the job title of such a person?

A person or company that refers clients to an investment adviser would normally referred to as an "Introducer".
Normal practice would be that their would be a formal "introducers agreement" between the introducer and the investment adviser that would set out any fees payable by the firm to the introducer.
