    Funds within funds, do you effectively pay a fee on top of a fee?

    Yes. Investing can be like Russian dolls. Funds of funds are collections of funds grouped and collated by an expert on our behalf. So we pay the expert to manage this collection of funds for us – and we pay the fee for the funds inside this. It’s not the cheapest way to invest but it can suit those who want to outsource the whole process.
