Founder, Wealth for Women
As both a chartered accountant and a chartered financial planner, Mary is well-placed to turn financial confusion into financial confidence. Specialising in divorce, she can be there for as much of the journey as you like to give you the support you need.
Mary Waring is the founder of Wealth for Women Limited, which provides independent financial advice and financial planning to women going through divorce. Mary is a chartered financial planner, a chartered accountant and has specialist recognition from the solicitor body Resolution. She is the only person in the UK with these qualifications.
Mary has won numerous awards acknowledging the service she offers.
In many cases during marriage the husband has looked after the finances and therefore during divorce, she feels overwhelmed, fearful, anxious and in need of a helping hand. She lacks confidence in making financial decisions, particularly knowing these decisions will affect her for the rest of her life.
It can be hard to make sensible decisions about your financial future, when you are going through such immense emotional upheaval. In fact, it’s often tempting to bury your head in the sand. But it’s so important to get to grips with your finances at this stage. It can mean the difference between being very comfortable, where you can sleep at night. Or running out of money far, far too soon. The choice is that stark.
What’s needed is a guiding hand and a reassuring voice. This is what we do best:
We can be with you as early in the process as you’d like. Maybe even before you meet with a lawyer. We will be there all the way through to helping you to manage your finances after the divorce.
