OK. Based on what you’ve told us, we think you should consider:

Robo ISA

Easy investment ISAs where someone does most of the investment heavy-lifting for you – so good for the less confident or busy.

You’ve said you favour a big brand – these guys are all global names or FTSE 100 players:

Although you have not specifically said that pensions are on your radar right now, do make sure you consider whether a blend of a pension and an ISA could make sense for you? Pensions are locked away until you're at least 55 BUT you get nice Government top-ups. ISAs are more flexible and accessible but have no nice freebie top-ups!

Robo Pension

These DIY pensions are quick to set up and you do not need to be an investment boffin to get started. With relatively small sums of money (sometimes from about £50), open a pension, consolidate old accounts and take an easy route through what can be a complex area.

Look for these big brands' ready-made options.
