And if you haven’t used our Adviser Directory yet…
It’s incredibly easy to use.
Simply filter advisers based on different criteria, then submit your enquiry through our website.
Our research found that the most popular filters are currently fixed fee advice and female adviser.
One of 5 of your enquiries was motivated by seeing an adviser’s answer in the Ask an Expert pages or in one of our Boring Money consumer webinars.
Since we incorporated the Adviser Directory and Ask an Expert functions into our website in August, you have asked over 500 questions (and please, please, please keep asking more!).
Our CEO, Holly Mackay, says:
“When we trialled Boring Money Advice earlier this year it was an experiment in a new approach to helping consumers find the right type of advice for them. We go beyond a postcode-based search and allow people to filter across multiple criteria, and we also position full traditional advice alongside newer options like digital advice or financial coaching so that people can understand all their options and pick the one that works for them.
“Consumers want to learn and understand their options. Being able to see advisers actively answering questions, taking part in live events and sharing their expertise is a great way to showcase advice".
