I have 2 pensions with these, one set up by my company and the other that I opted out of SERPS with. I moved home a few years ago and didn’t get statements for both pensions for a few years, added to this took my eye off the ball with them. When I finally got statements, it turns out for the past 5 years in a row, the pensions have made 0.25% a year every year ! I therefore complained as the returns were unbelievable, I was told that my funds had been invested in CREST. I just wonder how many other in investing!! So over a 5 year period they have made 1.25% whilst the FTSE has increased by nearly 50%. This is not a company to trust with your money! I have today transferred this account, unfortunately though I have another account with £50k in, with exactly the same story, this account can’t be transferred though! How convenient!! BTW Royal London,I could have made 15% in a building society account over 5 years! Disgraceful!

The website is really poor for such a major provider. hard to navigate, links don't take you directly to what you think they will etc.

RL are my latest workplace pension provider and I only have a very small pension with them. Compared to my SIPP, which is with Aviva, the app is quite basic, but functional. I have been able to choose a more adventurous lifestyle option with them, which is useful.

Never had any issues with Royal London. Im non advised as the governed portfolios are easy to navigate. If you are comfy with this there are no issues, if you would rather have an advisor that would be the best option. Everyone is so helpful. Ideally online and in the app it would be good to be able to trend your investments in a graph. Lots do it so hopefully RL would consider this in the future.

Good service overall, however App is poor and fundsheets are exceptionally hard to find, which in turn makes changing investments difficult
