I stumbled into the world of investing over 30 years ago armed with little more than a Modern Languages degree and a Post Office savings account. I have never forgotten how uncomfortable the jargon felt and how alienated I was by the assumptions made about what an investor looks like. It took a clean break to bring up two daughters and a dog for me to see that it doesn’t have to be like that! I used that break to retrain as a Financial Planner and now delight in helping women who want more confidence in how they approach their finances.
