About me
I want to get people talking more comfortably and openly about money. Debunking that thought that ‘I don’t understand finance’ is my passion. I enjoy talking to people and understanding their story - because it is this individual story that is the foundation of financial advice. Oh, and also – no jargon. Just a friendly, collaborative approach to give more confidence, clarity and peace of mind to your personal finances.
I am also a champion of increasing financial confidence in women. Prior to becoming a financial adviser, I spent over 25 years as a currency trader, so I am well versed in investments and the male dominated investment world. My background has made me even more passionate about bridging the gender pay gap, the pensions gap, the investment gap, the advice gap (I will stop there, but there are more!) and hope my two daughters will grow up in a world where these are significantly reduced.
Outside of work I love running, Pilates (so my body will allow me to keep running) and hanging out with my teenage daughters – who constantly keep me on my toes with their progressive views of the world – and more importantly answer my dumb questions without making me feel (too) old.
