Question by Esme

I'm keen to invest in firms with strong gender parity outcomes/ gender balanced boards/ owned/ managed by women. I've got some money in Wealthify's sustainable robo-accounts for the long-term but am new to investing so don't know where to go next for investigating gender-based investments. I'm 42 with a share of a buy-to-let property, solid DB pension and fairly risk averse, so this is more about doing the right thing than making high returns and would be a relatively small investment.

Hi Esme, you should investigate Female Invest https://femaleinvest.com/ This was founded as a social e-learning platform in Copenhagen by three females and expanded into the UK in 2020. Their aim is to change the language around investing to make it more female-friendly. Offering a subscription-based platform, they aim to close the gender investment gap through education and empower women to get started in investing, at all levels of investment & experience. I hope this helps.
