How would you rate Quilter as a platform?
Answered by Boring Money
Hi
I like Quilter, it isn't the cheapest but has a good range of funds and online functionality. There are a number of other platforms which are comparative such as Funds network, Transact, Aegon etc. I use Quilter as I find the system effective and intuitive and you can link families and products to reduce charges.
There is access to a wide range of over 1,800 unit trusts and OEICs, plus over 600 exchange traded investments (ETIs), including Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), Exchange Traded Commodities (ETCs) and investment trusts. They have Defaqto `Gold’ rated service in 2020.
They won the Moneyfacts Investment Life & Pension Awards 2020 Best Wrap Platform. All fund switches are free from any administration charge and can be processed quickly and easily online. You can view your Quilter accounts online, whilst credit/financial strength ratings may not reflect the potential impact of all risks related to a firm, independent financial services research firm, AKG, has awarded a financial strength rating of B+ (‘Very strong’) for Quilter in February 2020.
There are pros and cons to most of the platforms and it does depend what you want to invest in/products you require and personal preference.
