Best for Women Aged 40-54
Holly's ISA picks
By Holly Mackay, Founder & CEO
The average woman aged between 45 and 54 has £63,000 in total across cash, investments and pensions. This includes workplace pensions, savings accounts, ISAs and others. Women also tend to be harder on themselves about their knowledge and ability when it comes to investing – we rate our confidence as rock bottom. And one last thing – we really hate jargon and waffle!
So I’m looking out for ISAs which are cost effective for someone with around £20,000 - £40,000, which have helpful tips and good supporting content which isn’t designed for people with PhDs in Finance.
