Question by Sophie

I am going to be added to my partner's mortgage when he remortgages. Can my lifetime ISA be put into the value of the house at this point?

Hi Sophie

I cannot see why not, but I have to say I'm not entirely certain and you should make a quick enquiry with your solicitor who will confirm. I wanted to tell you to look out for Stamp Duty Land Tax which can be payable on transfers of equity depending the values involved, and again, your solicitor should inform you of the cost, if there is one, in advance.

Regards and best of luck
