Can you re-mortgage a residential first time buy bought with a lifetime ISA to a buy-to-let a few years after living in the property?

Hi Mary,
Yes, assuming suitable mortgages are available for the initial purchase and then buy to let, this should be possible. Your Lifetime ISA would have also needed to have been opened at least twelve months before using to buy the residential property also.
When going through this process, your conveyancing solicitor would be able to explain this in further detail if required.
