Do you offer the functionality for the client to deal direct on the platform while at the same time give access to financial adviser to deal as well?

There are a few investment platforms that offer this functionality and some financial advisers are happy to help clients they take on on this basis.

There are broadly three types of adviser views when it comes to this issue.

1. Most advisers I know will only work with clients who do not do any of their own dealing and leave this to the adviser to advise them.
This is still the prevalent, if a little old-fashioned approach.

2. A minority of advisers are happy to advise clients on the majority of their wealth/savings and agree with the individual that they can have some 'play money' if they enjoy investing, safe in the knowledge that this is unlikely to make or break their overall financial position.

3. There a small number of financial planners that are happy to let their clients manage their own investments entirely and thereby only advise them on their overall financial plan.
These are typically fee-only financial planners.

Ultimately, it depends what type of arrangement you are looking for, however I'm sure there is an adviser out there that can work with your needs.
