My daughter is a UK national, resident in Switzerland. She is looking for an online platform for UK investments, but it seems not all your recommendations are available to non-residents. Do you have any information on this?

Hello Chris,

There are 'passporting issues' when it comes to making recommendations to UK Nationals residing abroad. For example I am unable to offer advice unless a client is on UK soil. This is likely where the restrictions are for her. If she returns to the UK for a visit then we can look at holding a meeting and arranging an investment for her. Some firms may have permissions to advise outside UK soil which could be why it looks like some can nd some cant.
