I know that I cannot pay into my ISA anymore, but can I invest this money into my UK GIA even if I don't live there anymore?

I have an ISA and GIA account in the UK. I now live in Canada and will start investing here soon but I still have some UK rental income coming into a UK bank account. I know that I cannot pay into my ISA anymore, but can I invest this money into my UK GIA even if I don't live there anymore?

Hi Hannah,
You will need to speak to the provider of your GIA.
I appreciate you know you can't contribute to your ISA though I thought I would give you the link to the rules: https://www.gov.uk/individual-savings-accounts/if-you-move-abroad
Hope that helps,
Justin
