Best for Men Aged 55-64
Holly's ISA picks
By Holly Mackay, Founder & CEO
Average balances for those heading in the general direction of semi or full retirement tend to be bigger and so it’s more important to carefully consider fees and charges. Men aged 55–64 have an average of £187,000 across savings and investments – that includes cash savings, ISAs, private pensions and workplace pensions. Confidence levels can also be higher when it comes to investing, although many will secretly admit not perhaps being as confident when it comes to decision time.
So I’ve picked out three ISAs which are cost-effective for an average amount of £60,000 (assuming more is held in pensions) and will cater for a range of investment experience levels.
